Yesterday most of my team enjoyed a day out of the office to focus on being better wingmen to each other. We literally put our lives into each others' hands throughout our day of rockclimbing at Socorro (about an hour south of Albuquerque). It's a privilege to lead such a great team of men.

Now *that's* my kind of rock-climbing. None of that sissy indoor stuff. :D Not to mention this sure beats the cliche "let yourself fall back and your partner will catch you" trust-building exercises.

Good to hear from you. From your profile I gather that you decided to join the AF. I hope my advice was helpful and accurate. I'm interested to hear about your assignment...what have they got you doing?
Yep, I decided to enlist. Your advice was helpful, although obviously I went enlisted instead of officer. I'm actually not on AD quite yet. My ship date is April 25. At the moment, though, I'm pressing VERY hard to reserve a different job. I currently have Signals Intel booked, but after speaking with an AD airman I discovered I'm MUCH better suited for Operations or Network Intel. If I can get my job changed my ship date will be pushed even further back.
