Help me to see that although I am in the wilderness
it is not all briars and barrenness.
I have bread from heaven, streams from the rock,
light by day, fire by night,
thy dwelling place and thy mercy seat.
I am sometimes discouraged by the way,
but though winding
and trying it is safe and short;
My great high priest stands in the waters,
and will open me a passage,
and beyond is a better country.

this is in reference to your post on third parties. I was a fan of the constitution party, and have voted for them in the past. Thanks to the World article, I noticed that they are against free trade. As a believer I can find no justification for this. I'm sure it is based on some kind of America-first mentality, wanting to keep jobs over here, no matter whether that makes items higher priced or lower quality due to less competition. I have long thought that, if many foreign families can live on what one US family makes, then it is a good thing for them. I have sent the Const. party an email asking them their reasoning, but have not yet received a response. Sounds like, even though in Christ there is no Jew or Greek, when it comes to the Constitution party, there is definitely america and everyone else.

Thanks, Ted for your comment. I'm interested in their response on free trade, too.
