Jesus, apprehended for payment of my debt,
strides forth from the prison of the grave
free, and conqueror of death, hell, and all opposing might.
Jesus, once man of sorrows crowned with thorns,
now, Lord of life wreathed with glory.
Once: shame, agony, and death.
Now and for forevermore: Advocate, Intercessor, and Ruler of All!
