13 years as husband and wife

Kristin and I met through a blind-date my sophomore year of college (her freshman). That was 1991. Last night we reminisced a little on how much has changed. I asked if she ever imagined then how weird she'd become by marrying me: a homeschooling mother of 5 interracial children who lives in New Mexico!

A little over 13 years ago on an evening stroll along the river walk in San Antonio I asked this wonderful woman to marry me and then the astonishment of the ages occurred--she said "yes" and followed it up with an "I do."

A big thank you to Katie for watching the children last night so Kristin and I could have some time to savor a meal and the passing of 13 God-blessed years.
