God is good
Thank you for remembering us in your prayers! A wonderful, Christian family checked in two doors down from us today. We spent the afternoon together, sharing dinner while the children had a grand time playing outside. They'll be great neighbors for us while we wait for our house; they have a reformed/Lutheran background, the husband has a seminary degree, and the wife is starting to homeschool. We've already agreed to take turns watching each others' children so the parents can enjoy an evening on the town.

That's awesome, Tim. All of your recent posts are very positive and I'm happy for all of you. How much longer till you can move in? What's the weather like?
We should get our keys in 2 weeks (26 July). We're excited about getting our household goods. I don't know what I was thinking when I was packing the luggage--didn't bring nearly enough!
I like the weather, but I've always preferred to be hot rather than cold. Highs most days are in the upper 90s, but with very low humidity it feels great in the shade and it cools off quickly in the evenings. And it almost rained today--which would have been a first since we arrived--but the dark clouds passed us by.
