This
book explains the Reformation in an easy and quick manner without being uninteresting. In a fresh way the doctrines of the Reformation are presented through the lively characters of the Reformation. This link keeps the book from being academic without losing the doctrinal nature of the Reformation. My favorite chapter was "The Women of the Reformation", particularly the young life of Lady Jane Grey, the nine-day queen who at 16 years of age had a remarkable grasp on the gospel.
